Social Wave, a leading marketing agency based in Sydney, is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives for our service-based clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and advise clients on effective advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets, create consumer awareness, and promote services.
- Coordinate production of advertising campaigns, including specialised activities such as script writing, copywriting, media scripting, and media placement within time and budget constraints.
- Assist with topic ideation, scripting, filming, editing, scheduling and distributing video content across all major marketing channels
- Conduct keyword and topic research using tools such as Ahrefs to inform marketing strategies and content ideas
- Conduct monthly performance updates with clients to advise on marketing outcomes and inform future strategies
- Support business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies, and programs.
- Advise on all elements of marketing, such as pricing, advertising and sales promotion, and distribution channels.
- Conduct email marketing campaigns for lead-generation, communications and nurturing objectives
- Copywriting across social media, email, webpages and YouTube
- Work with CRMs, CMS’ and other marketing-related software
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law, business, commerce, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing with service-based businesses.
- Understand and have experience using video marketing or podcasts as a method of lead generation for businesses
- Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with script writing and copywriting experience, particularly in finance, tax, real estate, or legal topics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with CRMs such as ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, and Mailchimp.
- Experience working with CMS’ such as WordPress, WebFlow and SquareSpace
- Experience using Clickup, Slack, Google Docs and Dropbox
