Working in the Gold Coast Tourist Parks business unit located within the Lifestyle and Community Directorate. The Community Venues and Services Branch develops, maintains, and manages, in consultation with the local community, the major City owned Aquatic Centres, Major Sporting Venues, Tourist Parks and Cemeteries. The Gold Coast Tourist Parks business unit includes a portfolio of seven mainland tourist parks and three campgrounds on South Stradbroke Island.

Manage the planning, production, scheduling, and measurement of digital content for social media, Google, Gold Coast Tourist Parks website, other digital channels, and various tourism industry websites with a continuous improvement approach.

To manage brand reputation, create and implement engaging digital content and campaigns, and actively communicate through EDMs to internal and external customers.

  • Review, plan, create and manage social media platforms using a planning tool.
  • Maintain and grow online engagement with guests and followers on social media.
  • Grow followers through online promotional campaigns, engaging content, digital competitions, quizzes, and instant polls.
  • Maintain a digital style guide ensuring all marketing collateral is on brand and consistent with voice and visual aesthetics across all digital platforms.
  • Coordinate timely, accurate, and reliable responses to guest’s social media comments, posts, reviews, and DMs.
  • Manage the website content and imagery.
  • Manage content, imagery and relevant documents related to OTAs, paid and unpaid online business listings.
  • Assist in planning marketing campaigns including setting up and optimising organic and paid social content.
  • Develop Google Analytics customer journey and UTM traffic tracking strategies.
  • Contribute to team concept planning, "look and feel", decor and furnishings for new accommodation offerings or park facilities/features.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, encompassing excellent spelling and grammar with the ability to write in an engaging and audience appropriate language.
  • High level of initiative and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret information, determine an appropriate course of action, provide sound advice, options, or recommendations.
  • Excellent time management skills including the ability to manage a wide range of diverse tasks and establish work priorities when performing own tasks or managing other tasks.
