The Role


In your new role as Digital Content Specialist , you will bring the customer plan to life by activating our brands, ranges and key launches through the creation of merchandising plans & inspiration in the form of dynamic digital content. You will work collaboratively with the team to deliver a consistent and engaging connected customer experience.This role champions team advocacy and cultivates merchandising capability in our store teams. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.


Some additional key responsibilities include:

 

  • In partnership with the Merchandising Specialist - Operations Activation, lead the visual merchandising approach for Apparel, Home and selected GM categories in alignment with our strategic priorities (4 big rocks)
  • Translate the customer plan activity for each quarter into prioritised merchandising plans, principles and frameworks to support our store teams to bring the experience to life for customers. Drive connection across all channels (instore and digital) to enhance the connected customer experience
  • Work in partnership with the stores leadership team to build and cultivate a visual merchandising ambassador network in stores to champion best practice standards and coach skills within teams.
  • Guide and facilitate disciplined ways of working to ensure timelines are met, stakeholders are engaged appropriately and processes are efficient and cost effective
  • Develop a regular flow of inspiration showcasing the latest news on our brands, trends, ranges and key product launches to our end to end team to support consistent execution and drive sales. Respond to customer insights & latest trends by bringing together solutions that solve customer needs
  • Facilitate a digital approach to all communications driving engagement through fit for purpose and varied mix of content types (eg. video, how to’s, photos etc) and delivery methods (eg.workjam, town halls etc)
  • Coordinate team dress ‘ways to wear’ inspiration in line with season change overs

To be successful in the role, you will bring with you:

  • Extensive experience in a digital design, marketing or communications role
  • Retail background and experience working with apparel and general merchandise categories preferred
