Digital Activation Manager

Working under the guidance of the Activation Director you’ll contribute to the management of clients in one key area:

1. Paid social advertising – planning, implementation, optimisation and oversight of reporting for all paid social channels. Strong experience with Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager is required. Training is available for platforms other than Meta (such as LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok). The ideal candidate would have at least five years on platform/tool experience. Experience with programmatic will be advantageous, but not essential.

2. Programmatic advertising – planning, implementation, optimisation and oversight of reporting for programmatically led channels. Strong experience with The Trade Desk DSP is preferred but experience across other DSPs such as DV360, Nexxen, Yahoo, Xander is great. The ideal candidate is experienced with programmatic trading, planning and can coach and advise junior colleagues.

What key responsibilities does this role have?

  • You will be across all aspects of Paid Social and/or programmatic advertising
  • Planning Paid Social and programmatic buys with account / client service teams
  • Oversee your direct report’s reporting on campaigns once they conclude
  • Oversee platform-related tasks, but you can be hands-on when needed; I.E. Create audiences for targeting, pixel set-up and management, databases for Website Custom Audiences
  • Strong team focus working closely with all agency teams and departments to contribute towards business objectives
  • Keep abreast of new media initiatives and developments and share this knowledge with the team
  • Contribute to client recommendation
  • Strong team focus working alongside team members and account teams
  • Develop relationships and work closely with clients on campaigns to keep them informed of results and suggested optimisations

What key qualifications are we looking for?

  • Experience in managing multiple clients and campaigns concurrently within an agency
  • At least five years’ experience managing paid social and programmatic advertising
  • Official Meta Blueprint and The Trade Desk Edge Academy certification will be an advantage Intermediate proficiency on Meta tools (like Ads Manager, Campaign Planner)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and strong data analysis
  • Experience with Google Analytics is an advantage
