• We are currently seeking an experienced eating disorders dietitian, part–time 0.6 eft, to provide leadership to dietitians across the Mental Health Program. The role has a clinical caseload in the Wellness and Recovery outpatient clinic, two days per week, providing specialist dietetic assessment and intervention to adults with an eating disorder. This is a temporary, 12 month position - until October 2023.

  As a member of the Mental Health Program Senior Leadership Group you would be involved in a range of senior responsibilities including:

• Leading the professional governance for all dietitians employed in the mental health service.
• Coordinating and evaluating appropriate discipline specific evidence-based clinical interventions including resources.
• Contributing to the development of the discipline and broader service development.
• Working with the Director of Allied Health, Mental Health Program and Head of Profession Dietetics and Nutrition to develop linkages within the Mental Health Program, Monash Health and Academic Institutions.
• Providing senior clinical practice for adults with an eating disorder.

• This role would suit an experienced dietitian who is passionate about supporting the recovery of individuals with an eating disorder, as well as being passionate about enhancing the role of dietitians working in mental health.
