What You Get To Do

- Create, build, and maintain an ecosystem of platform and developer tools used by thousands of Engineers.
- Develop and maintain Software Engineering and DevOps best practices, standards, and patterns relied upon by hundreds of engineering squads.

- Design and implement monitoring and alerting to detect and heal issues within applications and platforms.
About You
Ideally you will have 3+ years’ experience in some of the DevOps and Software Engineering disciplines listed below:
Must have:
- DevOps Platforms (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
- Cloud Computing Services – IaaS & PaaS (Azure)
- Extensive experience in developing Python for a Production environment.
- Excellent Bitbucket and Git skills within in a large team environment
- Python development skills and familiarity with tools such as pytest, mock, sphinx, black, flake etc.
- Secrets Management (Azure Key Vault/ HashiCorp Vault)
- Experience in security scanning and understanding of security testing.
- Security by design
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible/ARM)
- Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Build Automation Tools (Python Setuptools/Maven/Gradle)
- Monitoring, Alerting & Visualisation (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Configuration Management (Chef/Ansible/Puppet/PowerShell DSC)
- Good understanding of development life cycle.
Nice to have:
- Other Programming & Scripting Languages (Scala/Java/Groovy/Bash/PowerShell)
- Test Automation (JUnit)
- Linux systems administration
- Familiarity with IP networking
