The Opportunity

The Applications Development team at Greenstone is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the applications utilised by our stakeholders. We are a team that initiates collaboration and doesn't hesitate to assist others in the delivery of work.

The focus for the Developer, is to translate business requirements into quality solutions. You will propose and implement technology solutions for business problems by following existing design practices and will design, implement and maintain solutions based on the design, specifications and standards provided by Lead Developers/Architects.

Due to a large in-house team, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical and interpersonal skills and be part of many exciting projects.

What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years development/support experience in Microsoft .Net /.Net Core
  • 4+ years experience in SQL Server 2017 and above, TSQL, Stored Procedures, View, Functions
  • 2+ years experience in AWS and cloud technology
  • Proficient with WCF, Entity Framework, MVC or similar frameworks
  • Good understanding and adherence to SDLC processes, SOLID principles, OOPs and design patterns on new development/maintenance projects
  • Experience in Azure GIT, SVN, Azure Devops (build and pipeline) and Octopus
  • Ability to understand user needs and meet the needs through well designed programs
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Experience in a continuous improvement environment
  • Strong analytical skills, fast learner and driven to action
  • Time management, organisation and priority skills
  • Expresses own opinion while remaining factual and respectful
  • Ability to write clear and detailed technical documentation
