This new role has been created to translate business needs into well-architected solutions leveraging underlying platform capabilities. They align to product development methods for the estimation and delivery of the customer product portfolio, supporting the strategic visions of the TAC and WorkSafe. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, work collaboratively to solve problems, and have the opportunity to utilise your strategic skillset over time. The successful applicant for this role will be employed by WorkSafe but will work across both organisations.

This role will be a part of our Service Delivery team within the ITSS Division, which delivers IT services across both the TAC and WorkSafe Victoria. You will be supported by a Manager who is approachable, flexible and focussed on creating a collaborative culture. You will work closely with the other delivery team members who each bring a diverse skillset, and like to share knowledge across the team.

• Take technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development.
• Take technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of configuration development and deployment.
• Specify and design large or complex software applications, components and modules.
• Maintain application support processes, and checks that all requests for support are dealt with according to agreed procedures.
• Provide technical expertise to enable the configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing.
• Select appropriate testing approach, including manual and automated testing.
