Our client is a high-end residential builder with a niche focus building bespoke, architecturally designed homes for over 10 + years. Primarily building in the North Shore, Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs, their average builds will range from $1.5M up to $3M. They have a strong focus on high-end finishes and contemporary-style homes.

Having won a multitude of awards in the residential sector, they are now looking to expand their team and are seeking an experienced Design Consultant to work out of their Norwest office and display home.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and passionate about design. You will be the first point of contact for new customers through the sales and design process, and see the customers through to the end sales of the process. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive background in design within the luxury residential sector with demonstrated construction knowledge.

Day to day duties will include:

• Initial concept design with client and customers
• Be pro-active in working new leads and the existing client database
• Manage your sales pipeline and identify new opportunities
• Conduct walk-through's and home demonstrations for prospective buyers
• Guide customers through design, tendering and council approval process until contract signing
• Read and interpret site plans, technical drawings, contour plans and estimates
• Assisting the Director with tender and contract presentations

What You Need

• Bachelors or Diploma in Building Design or Architecture
• Minimum 2 - 3 years experience as a Design Consultant or Building Designer in the residential space
• Financially and target driven, self motivated with the ability to work autonomously
• Exceptional presentation with strong verbal and written communication
• Comprehensive market knowledge
