About the team

You will be part of the architecture team, a group of intelligent, creative and dedicated individuals. We are a multi-disciplinary team at Scott Carver, so you will also be working closely with the director’s, interior designers, landscape architects, the marketing team and people & culture team. Doug Southwell and Nicholas Bandounas, the directors of Architecture, lead with a progressive approach to design, collaborative work environment and workplace flexibility. The work is fast paced, so we are looking for people who love figuring stuff out, think big picture but are also across the detail, and is always looking for opportunities to drive amazing design.

About you and the role

You will have AT LEAST 5 years plus of experience in the industry, although your experience will be well rounded, you are a talented front-end designer (who is preferably registered). It goes without saying that you will have demonstrated conceptual design skills, strong 3D modelling capability and ability to communicate ideas quickly through sketching.

You will be someone who can jump from one job to another with ease, work across multiple projects at concept stage. Collaborating, leading and driving design is what you are passionate about and incredibly good at.

We are primarily interested in your passion for the industry, your great ideas and love for what you do. You should be confident at quickly and effectively using SketchUp, Rhino or REVIT as a design communication tool, and be familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, but your design skills are of more interest to us then your preferred choice of software. Basically, we are looking for a talented design architect, who wants to join a great company with a collaborative design approach. Oh, and a sense of humour is a must!
