Depot Support Officer

Description:

Transdev is a world leader in the operation of passenger transport services. We have a full time day shift vacancy on day shift (38 hours per week Monday to Friday) for a Depot Support Officer based at our Taren Point depot.

The Depot Support Officer is responsible for supporting the Service Delivery Manager in the management of the day to day operations of the bus depot through engaging and managing the frontline employees and depot staff to deliver high quality bus services to all customers.

Hours of work: Predominantly core business hours on day shift (Monday to Friday 38 hours per week) with the ability to react to unforeseen business needs, including evenings and weekends as required.

Allocate appropriately qualified staff for all shifts and adjust working rosters (including unplanned absences and timetable changes) to best meet expected schedules in line with award conditions and safety considerations

Report and investigate operational, safety and environmental incidents and nonconformances, contribute to root cause analysis and deliver action plans

Support the delivery of Operation Business Plan and achieving depot budget expectations.
Management of incident, hazard and near miss reporting

Contribute to meeting on time running reliability targets and other relevant contractual KPIs

Liaise with HSEQ and People and Culture Safety Departments in relation to injured staff and fatigue management
