Description:
The Training Planning & Delivery Manager will
- Build, lead and manage a high performing team to plan and deliver contemporary and effective training to meet program objectives and safely support the AAP
- Manage team performance and stakeholder relationships to ensure that training delivery frameworks evolve to provide contemporary, compliant and effective learning outcomes
- Manage people, financial and physical resources and assets for sustainable program delivery
- Collaborate with AAD colleagues and Department enabling services to assess and manage risk relating to current/future operational functions and subsequent training needs
- Develop and strengthen relationships with industry and community to identify and respond to new and emerging training needs
- Sustain collaborative relationships with the wider education-delivery and SME community to capitalise on opportunities that share expertise and strengthen the AAD training and capability framework
- Develop and implement operational plans that align with OCT strategic objectives and associated deliverables
- Implement effective curriculum management/delivery evaluation and review strategies
- Interpret and observe policies, priorities and strategic directions relevant to the delivery of training programs and broader Section and Branch objectives
- Effectively represent the AAP on relevant committees, working groups, and in discussions and/or negotiations with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all related WHS, legislative and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and report on performance against agreed indicators, benchmarks and budgets
- Manage performance appraisals and champion professional development
- Use appropriate IT applications effectively (including Microsoft suite applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrate leadership that aligns with the AAD Culture & Leadership program
- Undertake other duties as required by the Operational Capability & Training Manager.
