Dataops Architect

We are currently searching for a DataOps Architect to join our Cognizant team and contribute on a large program of work for a key strategic client.

The role
As the DataOps Architect you will play a key technical role designing and delivering the data solutions on this complex and large-scale program of work. As the DataOps Architect you will use your technical skill and expertise to develop data solutions to store and retrieve information using best practice techniques.

Key expectations and responsibilities include

• Installing and configuring information systems to ensure functionality
• Analyzing structural requirements for new software and applications

• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
• Optimize new and current database systems
• Define security and backup procedures

What does success look like?

• Successful experience performing similar roles deploying private/public cloud solutions
• Experience implementing Machine Learning concepts, tools and techniques
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing tools
• Knowledge of Big Data concepts, tools and ecosystem
• Certifications / Qualifications in Data Engineering, Data Science, AWS/GCP/Azure, are highly desirable
• Additional technology areas and experience in any additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, infrastructure experience, networking experience is desirable
