This position is responsible for supporting the operation and deployment of our ICT network as well as providing technical expertise on network design.
 

• Administer our Database platforms (SQL Server, PowerBI, etc.)
• Manage and enhance our analytics, reporting and data warehouse platforms
• Ensure data quality and source-of-truth for data
• Advise and support Councils data architecture and planning and projects
• The successful candidate must demonstrate experience managing Microsoft SQL Server, PowerBI and related platforms, however transferable experience on other platforms would be acceptable.
  
  You will be an excellent communicator and skilled in producing useful documentation of systems and platforms.
  
  It is preferred that applicants to have relevant experience and qualifications in administration and architecture of the following platforms, or comparable equivalents:
• Microsoft Windows Server (AD, security services, network access control)
• IBM TM1
• PostgreSQL
• Cloud-platform databases and analytics (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, ORACLE Cloud)
