What will you be doing?
- Guiding purposeful cloud native technology selection based on sound business requirements
- Delivering a well architected Azure data platform design, using appropriate methodologies for RAC’s needs
- Architect resilient and transparent data pipeline processes that form a service offering and manage development of consumption data layer patterns for cloud native analytic engines
- Provisioning data with measurable SLA’s to business units or permit business units to manage their own SLA’s
- Coaching and leading the Data Engineering team
- Ensuring that platforms are cost efficient and make best use of license agreements and compute resources
- Ensuring development and deployment processes meet current CI/CD practices
- Developing processes that are seamless, codified, repeatable, inspectable, reusable and resilient
What are we looking for in you?
- Experience in a data engineering role
- Experience with Enterprise / Data Architecture
- Demonstrated experience leading a team
- Demonstrated project management experience is desirable
