Your new role
An exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join the Group Underwriting team. This role will see you using a variety of tools and techniques, to provide reporting, insights, and aid in the delivery of business improvements and solutions with a focus on QBE’s customer and policy information and sustainability data.
Perform data analysis tasks such as building, querying, modelling, testing, and validating data using relevant tools.
Build and manage the centralised customer engagement portal dashboard with key metrics on measuring customer engagement progress.
Support with testing and AI integration into the centralized customer databased
Deliver accurate, high-quality, and timely data products and reports.
Provide recommendations based on key data trends and insights to facilitate decision-making processes.
Work with stakeholders to comprehend data requirements for reporting, project, and business needs.
Contribute to the enhancement of data services' quality by improving processes, systems, or tools.
Create visually appealing reports, research, briefings, and other correspondence in line with business objectives.
About you
Experience working with data and/or analytics.
Demonstrated ability to analyse, query, extract and present data to support business objectives.
Proven experience providing data insights to support operational and strategic objectives.
Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerBI, and Tableau.
Experience working with SQL, Python, and/or R.
Qualifications in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar.
Financial Services or Insurance experience is beneficial.
