Description:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to apply threat-informed expertise in cyber technologies and integrated solutions to enhance the security and resilience of Australia’s cyber systems and infrastructure. This role will be based in Canberra, ACT reporting to the Managing Director of MITRE | Australia.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- You will be a member of the MITRE team working in a multi-agency environment developing, coordinating, and implementing cybersecurity initiatives and policy across the 18 Intelligence Community agencies.
- You will serve as a cybersecurity strategic advisor for multiple levels of senior government leadership and serve as an interface between cutting-edge technical experts (MITRE and government) pairing mission needs with achievable policy decisions and outcomes.
- You will provide cyber, analytic, and systems engineering thinking and expertise to refine organization and technology specific policy, plans, and processes, while also developing cyber risk management activities into US Government policy and instruction. A willingness to work on-site at IC sponsor facilities is required.
- Build partnerships across organizations to collaboratively address cyber threats.
- Helping our customers and their stakeholders identify opportunities to improve cyber capabilities, processes, and operations.
