Description:
Key responsibilities and experience for the role includes, but is not limited to:
- Engage with cyber-related legislative and policy developments across government, and maintain compliance with relevant legislative frameworks, cyber incident concepts, and the client's cyber security mission and policy requirements.
- Participate in the assessment and evaluation of historic incident data to deliver medium- and long-term data validation objectives, by reviewing the quality of work undertaken by others, performing clerical support work and identifying opportunities for on-the-job training within the team.
- Contrast historical incident data with the current operational management framework, and work with subject matter experts, to identify data quality issues and manage data corrections.
- Coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent with a work plan and provide advice on practical methods of task completion that align with other team members.
- Enrich and maintain incident data holdings, to support trends analysis and reporting requirements.
Skills and experience we are looking for includes:
- Experience with evaluation, data entry, data analysis and data validation.
- Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL), as well as working with databases and Atlassian platforms like Confluence or JIRA
- Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with others through clear and proactive communication.
- Training or experience with cyber security analysis or incident response is an advantage.
