About the Role

The Customer Service Supervisor is the most senior member in the Customer Service Team, who is central to ensuring the smooth running of customer service operations for the organisation. This role will be the first respondent to phone calls, responsible for processing all inbound sales orders and be the first point of contact for high value customers such as contract manufacturing clients, distributors and export freight forwarders.

  • Build relationships with Senior Management and other stakeholders to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • Maximise the performance and maintain the culture of the CS Team
  • Coordination of onsite stock holding and 3PL arrangements with Warehouse and Inventory Manager
  • Play a key role in sales forecasting, planning and month-to-month reporting
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all customer service functions related to internal systems
  • Investigation and implementation of corrective action for non-conformance reports
  • Proactive management of existing customers/accounts
  • Handle, diffuse and resolve all customer complaints and escalate to Senior Management if necessary
  • Responsible for booking interstate transport and slots for retail distribution centres
  • Coordinate export orders and commencement of export production workflows
  • Manage notifications to all customers for business updates (price increases, business closure periods, etc.).

About You

We’re seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service professional with demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end order cycle. Care factor is of utmost importance in this role, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

  • Experience working in FMCG or Food Manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering outstanding customer service
  • Experience and knowledge of stock and inventory management
  • Experience managing transport, shipping and export orders
