Great Southern Bank is looking for Customer Service Specialist.

The Role:

Our Relief Customer Service Specialist role is pivotal to supporting our purpose. Based in our Epping branch you will also travel to our Melbourne CBD branch on occasions to provide support and serve these local residential and business communities as the first point of contact for our customers and their banking needs.

You’ll be challenging yourself every day to deliver sales results and help our customers meet their financial goals through our great value products and services. For this permanent full-time Relief role, you need to have demonstrated work experience in a complex customer service or sales environment, and you will need to show that you enjoy:

  • Learning new things such as new products, services, and ways of working
  • Challenging yourself to go above and beyond with each customer conversation
  • Meeting new people and building connections in your local community
  • Helping solve problems for customers by matching products and solutions to needs

  • The ability to travel to branches as rostered to provide coverage for staff leave

Our branch teams complete any necessary task to support our customers. Each day you will wear many hats finding a balance between providing the best customer service and sales experience, ensuring that risks are identified and addressed, our process and procedures are followed accurately, and we remain compliant to ensure our customers and Bank are well protected.
