Moree Plains Shire Council currently has two (2) positions open for Customer Service Officers.

  • Permanent full time – 35 hours per week
  • Location Moree

About the role

As a Customer Service Officer you will be required to provide prompt, efficient and effective service to both external and internal customers of Moree Plains Shire Council to achieve a satisfactory outcome to all matters raised. Positions will also be required to collect all monies due to Council by way of rates, charges, contributions, fees and subsidies legitimately recoverable by Council and maintain the integrity of Council's banking and receipting functions.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2020, Band 1 Level 3 Grade 5 Step 1 $986.95 to Step 3 $1,058.25 in Council’s Salary System, depending on qualifications and experience.
