Our Customer Service Team is looking for:

A talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team located at the City’s Administration Building on a Permanent Part Time basis. You will be part of a dedicated team providing a professional, dynamic, engaging and customer focused service to the community.

This role includes working in both a busy Contact Centre environment and at the City’s Administration Counter where you will be required to resolve customer queries and work as part of a small team of staff who work to tight timeframes.

You will need high level communication and interpersonal skills, dedication to providing excellent customer service, a positive and methodical work ethic and proficiency in general computer use. You will undertake various administrative and customer service tasks

What you will bring to the team

  • Certificate III in Customer Contact or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a Contact Centre environment
  • Substantial experience in a direct customer service role.
  • Sound oral and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and demonstrated ability to work within a team
  • Well-developed organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work in a very busy work environment
  • Demonstrated numeracy, cash handling and cashiering skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive material and issues in a confidential manner
  • A current unrestricted “C” class national driver’s licence
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • Ideally, you will have previous experience working in Local Government

This permanent part-time Level 4 position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $69,332 to $74,548 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience.
