An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Customer Service Officer based in Adelaide reporting to Customer Service Team Leader.
About the Role:
The Customer Service Officer is a key role focusing on customer experience and satisfaction. You will be a ‘Uniti’ brand and product ambassador with excellent presentation and people skills.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Understanding and shaping customer needs, with a prime focus on getting it right the first time for the customer
- Provide a professional and courteous customer service to all enquiries and communications in line with policies and agreed timeframes
- Ensure all responses are within brand tone and consistent with broader brand messages and positioning
- Respond to and resolve customer service calls, emails, chat, and messages in a timely manner
- Handle customer sales enquiries and complaints, as well as technical & maintenance requests
- Calculate service availability for sales enquiries using the tools provided
- Management of customer billing issues in conjunction with relevant finance and sales staff
- Contribute to the development, improvement and implementation of new processes and systems related to customer service and sales
About you:
The ideal person for this role will have/be:
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Previous telecommunication experience in a call centre customer service role or similar is advantageous
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Problem Solver with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who can manage targets/priorities and their time effectively
- Excellent negotiation skills with a strength in dispute resolution
- Ability to work with a range of different stakeholders both internally and externally
- Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic changing environment
- Previous technical or network experience, or an interest in technology is considered favorable
- Team player able to work effectively as part of a team and share knowledge and skills toward achieving a common goal
- Second language is advantageous
