We are seeking a Front Office Supervisor (called Customer Service Manager) to join our UniLodge Royal Melbourne , North Melbourne

You will manage an operations team at our UniLodge Royal Melbourne, conducting leasing, student engagement programs, accounts administration and property management of 411 beds. You will also be required to be on-call for phone assistance to support our Residential Advisor team should they need additional support. This role is largely autonomous and will give someone the opportunity to rapidly grow their leadership, management and problem solving skills.

About the Role

  • Full-Time position Available
  • Roster Monday to Friday 09:00am to 5:00pm
  • Additional hours may be required during peak intake and end of university trimesters
  • Managing day-to-day administrative operations - customer service, reporting, budgeting, planning, marketing and owner relations
  • Ongoing property management of the apartments - inspections and maintenance requests
  • Recruit, manage and develop a team of high performing staff
  • Manage, develop, and implement student activity program and events
  • Manage standards of behaviour within our community
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Market the property in a proactive manner
  • Assist with managing the property’s financial performance
  • Accounting - end of month, invoicing, daily banking reconciliation, arrears management bond audits, processing payments, refunds and reconciling transactions

About You

  • Experience managing and developing a team
  • Experience with property management systems
  • Event management and student activity programming experience
  • Leadership experience in student accommodation or student services (highly regarded)
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to problem solve and manage conflict
  • Real Estate Agent’s Representative Certificate (required)
  • National Police Check & Working with Children Check (required)
