What’s the role?

News Corp’s eCommerce team is seeking a highly motivated Customer Engagement Manager responsible for developing and executing marketing and engagement strategies to support our strategic shift into eCommerce. To deliver eCommerce outcomes, the role will focus on developing audiences growth strategies across our broad portfolio of websites, as well as developing contact strategies to increase customer loyalty, frequency of visit and ultimately drive sales conversion. Once marketing strategies are in place you will be responsible for executing on this, and delivering an always on campaign cycle.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in Marketplaces, Affiliate Marketing or Ecommerce, who would relish the chance to represent some of the best known News and Lifestyle brands owned by News Corp as they grow through eCommerce.

  • Develop and implementation of the Marketing & Engagement strategy – with a focus on driving impact through measurable benefits and outcomes to positively impact Ecommerce revenues
  • Work with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver marketing communication programs to drive brand awareness and consideration of new eCommerce initiatives
  • Manage and optimise amplification performance marketing campaigns - eDM, SEM and Social - to achieve audience growth
  • Manage marketing budgets and own performance KPIs
  • Manage and execute a customer engagement program to increase customer loyalty, satisfaction and repeat purchases
  • Assess the user journey to ensure our strategy targets the most valuable customers
  • Briefing of creative assets to support campaigns

Who are you?

  • 3-5 years experience in digital marketing (from strategy through to delivery, analysis and reporting)
  • Experience managing digital and social marketing campaigns
  • Proven experience in delivering consumer engagement strategy
  • Experience in the development and management of a contact strategy, including the use of Marketing Cloud
  • Collaborative and able to drive multiple & varied stakeholders to a solution within required timeframes
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate concerns and issues into implications and actions
  • Background in Marketplaces, Affiliate Marketing or Ecommerce
