Customer Care Representative

 

Description:

As a Customer Care Representative in our Contact Centre, you will be taking inbound calls from customers and assisting them with their transactions and enquiries, while providing exceptional customer service to all new and existing customers. You will proactively identify customer needs and support our customers with all aspects of their banking experience.

As part of your career development at MyState, you may also have the opportunity to support our customers through our digital channels.

You will work on a rotational roster between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. We also have optional overtime shifts available on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. This role is based in our office in Hobart CBD.
We currently have full time (38 hours per week) and Part Time (minimum 20 hours) positions available. We will confirm your preference with you during the interview stage if successful.

  • You are passionate about helping people, naturally empathetic and demonstrate our values
  • You demonstrate resilience and able to manage a high-paced work environment
  • Have customer service experience – previous experience in Banking not essential, but would be advantageous
  • You are a team player and excited to contribute to a positive team culture
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrate an ability to navigate multiple systems and learn new information
