Corporate Planning And Business Case Lead

As the Corporate Planning and Business Case Lead within the Transformation Office, you are integral to the success of V/Line. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Planning on the development of the Corporate Plan and overseeing the effective implementation of initiatives.

You are responsible for facilitating the preparation of Group Plans for each functional unit that align with V/Line’s Corporate Plan, strategies and other strategic priorities.

You will also lead the preparation of high-quality business cases and submissions to seek funding through V/Line’s State Budget submission to execute on organisational strategic priorities and initiatives.

Key Accountabilities include:
 

• Work across the business to identify, produce and support business case development activities to seek funding to execute upon strategic priorities and organisational initiatives and effectively manage risk
• Prepare robust business cases and funding submissions to deliver on V/Line and Government transport and regional development strategies and initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and drafting of the Corporate Plan
• Support the development of Corporate KPIs and initiatives and ensure strategic alignment between Corporate Strategy, Corporate Plan KPIs and initiatives and Group Plan KPIs and initiatives
