Corporate Events Specialist

ABC Audiences is made up of a passionate group of marketing, brand, creative, audience experience, UX and audience insights specialists who have audiences at the heart of all they do. They're responsible for leading the ABC’s brand and audience strategies, acquiring and engaging audiences both within our broadcast and digital ecosystems and working collaboratively with partner divisions to lead an integrated approach to audience insights, branding, acquisition and retention strategies, and communication.

About The Role

This role will see you provide support in the development and implementation of the ABC’s internal and external events, and stakeholder management strategy that aligns with the ABC’s strategic objectives. You will work closely with the Corporate Events Manager to produce a pipeline of events from conception to completion. You will be responsible for the development of event specific communication and collateral, coordination of assets and creative materials with the ABC’s design agency, briefing technical production teams on event requirements, and supporting the onsite delivery of events

You will utilise your excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a whole of ABC approach to event vision, objectives, and implementation. You'll support a range of external stakeholder events across Australia that promote and deliver on key corporate priorities, as directed and within an allocated budget.

About You

You're a strong communicator with proven experience working in an event management/public relations/marketing/communications role in a large and complex organisation.

You understand the role of the ABC in the community and its relationship with external stakeholders.
