This fantastic opportunity will also support the development of strategy for, and driving action on, our approach to any issues or topics expected to impact the reputation of the firm specifically, or the profession more broadly. This will involve convening relevant stakeholders and leveraging skillsets whilst managing interdependencies across a number of functions within EY including but not limited to Public Policy, General Counsel, Risk and Quality, Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC), Government Relations, the Executive Leadership Team and various Area and Global EY functions.

  • Proven experience in corporate affairs, media relations, crisis communications, stakeholder relations and advocacy in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional research skills and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex issues to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to successfully navigate complex and competing priorities, and cope with ambiguity and change.
  • Strong influencing skills; gain support and commitment from others; mobilize people to take action; use creative approaches to motivate others to meet practice strategic goals; engage with leaders effectively to gain sponsorship for activities.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and influence at the most senior levels within an organisation.
