The Role

Reporting into the Group Accounting & Taxation Manager, this role will provide a key support role across the corporate finance function. The responsiblitie will include but are not limited too:
 

  • Financial reporting & accounting - preparing statements for multiple operating entities & consolidated group
  • External audit management - acting as the key contact for the external auditors
  • Tax Management - tax return preparation, GST, FBT and payroll tax understanding
  • Treasury & Banking - monitoring and update daily cash flow, short term and medium term-forecasts
  • Fixed assets - maintain integrity of the fixed assets ledger
  • Working towards continued improvement & automation in the finance function
     

About You
 

  • CA / CPA qualified or progressing towards completion
  • Experience in a similar Financial / Group Accountant role with exposure to statutory reporting will be beneficial
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to speak with both internal and external stakeholders
  • SAP & BW experience is desirable
