Coordinator Property Operations

 

Description:

As the coordinator property operations, you will provide the day-to-day coordination and functions of the property team (including land acquisition and disposal programs, managing a diverse lease portfolio) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of property and commercial related services to the organisation and community.

We want to change the way we manage our property portfolio, growing our income streams, modernising our processes, and shaping the team for the future of property here at Latrobe City Council.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Organisational Performance you will have a clean slate and the opportunity to do things differently.

For this position we are seeking a highly skilled individual with the ability to proactively lead our team. You will be commercially minded, analytical and have the ability to interpret legislation, most importantly we are looking for someone with innovation front of mind and having the drive to do things differently.

You will have:

 

  • Qualifications and/or extensive experience working in a highly legislated environment such as finance, property, law, valuations, surveying or governance.
  • Understanding of the relevant work practices, procedures and processes involved with planning, development and provision of services associated with property operations.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

 

All successful applicants will need to successfully obtain a Police Check and hold a valid employee Working with Children Check.
