Contract Administrator

 

Description:

We are looking to appoint a talented Contract Administrator to join our Transport & Infrastructure team based on site in Gympie. This is an 8 month fixed term role, working on a $50M+ project as part of the broader Bruce Highway Upgrade. The successful candidate will provide support and lead across our contractual, legal and risk management obligations for the Project. This role is ideally suited to candidates with 5+ years of industry exposure in a similar role.

About You
 

  • Prior exposure to the civil construction or heavy industrial sectors would be highly advantageous.
  • Sound understanding of contract terms and conditions, alongside a familiarity with the commercial and legal issues impacting business and the delivery of projects.
  • Ideally experience with administration of head contract obligations including payment claims, notice of delays, EOTs, variations etc.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Developed analytical and planning/prioritisation skills.
  • Open to traveling to the project site 2-3 times per week.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external clients & stakeholders.
