The Australian Venue Co. family are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Content Marketing Manager to join our internal Sales team!

Australian Venue Co. undertakes a large pipeline of capital investment projects to refresh and revitalise pubs across its national portfolio. From locations across Queensland and South Australia to metropolitan Melbourne, these ‘brownfield’ projects involve large scale renovations that are guided by in-depth research and strategic brand concepts.

Reporting to the Group Brand and Communications Manager, the Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing a consistent brand identity for Australian Venue Co (AVC). By maintaining a comprehensive channel plan, the Content Marketing Manager will expertly manage timely and engaging updates around all content pillars to both internal and external audiences. This includes AVC social channels, website content, blog posts and internal communications channels.

The role will also be responsible for supporting the wider Brand and Communications team on executing brownfield and greenfield projects, research projects, compiling PR content and digital execution for brand campaigns as required.

What does the role involve?

  • Manage a robust content calendar and schedule for all AVC channels, ensuring timely and engaging updates around:
    • Acquisitions
    • Brownfields
    • New internal roles/appointments
    • Major calendar & special event media wrap ups
    • Profile pitching
    • Awards
    • Corporate Social responsibility campaigns
    • Activations
    • Venue specific campaigns
  • Maintain a channel management plan for AVC external brand channels including social media, website and EDMs
  • Review content against success metrics weekly and report on monthly
  • Research, identify and write compelling content in line with AVC’s brand pillars and collaborate across departments to collect and distribute AVC content
  • Develop and maintain a library of media materials including fact sheets for AVC corporate and flagship venues, bios for key staff, current & past media releases, photography and logos.
  • Support with copywriting for AVC brand campaigns
  • Attend monthly PR meetings and support with the collation and creation of content for PR pitching
  • Develop engaging and creative content solutions that drive engagement, traffic and conversions for AVC brand
  • Managing internal communications touchpoints including The Buzz staff newsletter and marketing support for major staff programs and campaigns.
  • Assist with demographic and industry research reports
  • Support with the Brand & Communications team with the execution of brownfield renovation projects
  • Support the Brand and Communications team with creative brainstorming, concept development, copy writing, research reports and content sourcing
