Description:
The Senior E-Learning Development Officer possesses a significant level of knowledge and understanding of how people learn, and substantial experience in the application of that knowledge to e-learning. The incumbent manages the development and implementation of e-learning across the organisation, including the assessment of learning needs and the provision of instructional design strategies and methodologies. The incumbent manages the Learning Management System, its functionality and interoperability with the HR and other systems and provides recommendations and reports to Senior Management where required.
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholder groups across the organisation to analyse training needs and negotiate flexible and blended learning and development strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement instructional methodologies for e-learning to achieve agreed objectives and deliver within corporate parameters for e-learning.
- In consultation with subject matter experts, prepare and write content for e-learning, including activities and assessment.
- Manage the learning management system to ensure continuous improvement of functionality and interoperability with other systems.
- Extract data, provide advice, recommendations and reports to Senior Management to meet corporate requirements and compliance.

- Demonstrated expertise in developing learning methodologies for self-paced online and blended learning methodologies that achieve agreed learning objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing content for self-paced online learning that meets the needs of the learner, training platform and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in the management of a Learning Management System and online learning platforms.
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills that foster teamwork and cooperation to achieve outcomes within tight timeframes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication and
- collaboration with staff at all levels.
- Qualifications in education and/or training or relevant fields like Visual communication and Content research, Communications designer
