Consumer And Patient Experience Coordinator

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong interest in patient experience and consumer engagement to join our Clinical Governance Team at Northern Sydney Local Health District.

NSLHD Clinical Governance Unit comprises of a unique team that leads initiatives on patient safety and consumer engagement in clinical areas across the LHD. You will be based in the District Office which is located on the Royal North Shore Hospital Campus. The job will also require travelling to other sites within the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

• Assist the Consumer and Patient Experience Manager to develop, implement and integrate the consumer engagement and patient experience governance framework across NSLHD
• Support the Consumer and Patient Experience Manager to develop, implement and integrate consumer engagement and patient experience initiatives, inclusive of policy development, to meet the National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards, Standard 2 and the actions outlined in The Partnering with Consumers Framework across NSLHD facilities and services
• Contribute to the gathering, analysis and reporting of data related to consumer engagement activities within the NSLHD to senior executives about complaint and compliment data.
• Support initiatives and follow up on actions as requested and/or delegated by CAPE Manager relating to activities from District/Sites/Services Consumer Advisor Committees
• Assist with Health Care Complaints Commission responses for serious, complex, NSLHD-wide, or confidential consumer complaint matters, and medicolegal matters as directed by the Consumer and Patient Experience Manager
• Provide support and coordinate activities and initiatives delegated to you by Director of Clinical Governance and Patient Experience, Deputy Director Clinical Governance and Patient Experience or Senior Managers of the Clinical Governance Unit NSLHD.
