Our national Employment Taxes team within the KPMG Specialist Tax and Reward business has experienced significant growth and is recruiting experienced Senior Consultant and Manager to join our high performing team in Brisbane.

Our Employment Tax team has a clear focus on providing a high-touch, value-add advisory and compliance service to a diverse client portfolio. We also deliver on a number of FBT outsource engagements for some of Australia’s largest employers.

Your opportunity

Responsibilities will include
 

  • Consulting to Australian mid-market and large corporate clients on their Fringe Benefit Tax, payroll tax, PAYG withholding and Superannuation Guarantee obligations
  • Involvement in the preparation, review and lodgement of corporate FBT returns including onsite secondments
  • Opportunity to help develop our FBT and payroll tax compliance solutions including the use of data analytics and robotic process automation
  • Opportunity to work in partnership with external software providers to assist in the development of tax and workflow management solutions for clients
  • Play a part in growing a national function and shaping our future FBT and broader employment tax offerings
  • Working within our wider Specialist Tax and Reward business, alongside a young and vibrant national team with a collaborative culture and strong growth mindset




How are you extraordinary?
 

  • Experience working on Australian FBT and payroll tax.
  • Experience in executing both FBT compliance and advisory work for clients.
  • Experience working with large data sets and SQL expertise would be considered highly desirable.
  • A commitment to client service with a proven track record of developing strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong tax technical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supervise and mentor team members.
