Description:
We are seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor for an Owners team vacancy working on a major Hydrogen project in Gladstone QLD.
This is a Gladstone, QLD based role, 60-hour week (Mon-Fri), and a 9-month contract.
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager you will lead teams and coordinate subcontractors to ensure the successful execution of SMP works within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordination and facilitation of Contractor works, ensuring the scope is delivered to schedule and budget, including review of Contractor documentation and reporting, and attendance at regular Contractor meetings.
- Work closely with the Environment and Approvals team to ensure contractor compliance.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design changes, field reports, and correspondence.
- Ensuring the work undertaken by the Construction Contractors meets the project expectations
- Key interface for technical information between the Construction Contractor and the Designer
Your Experience:
- 5-10+ years’ experience overseeing and coordinating all aspects of structural, mechanical, and piping activities on major projects.
- Experience in projects in the renewables, oil & gas and mining sectors preferred.
- Intermediate skills in the management of specialised packages for a multi-discipline green field project.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills and ability to problem-solve effectively.
- Advanced knowledge in the use of MS Office software.
- Understanding of planning, scheduling and project controls.
