Computer Vision Engineer

We are currently seeking a talented Computer Vision Engineer with great experience across detection systems to join our client with market-leading detection systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for computer vision and machine learning, and who is looking to be part of a team that is revolutionizing the detection and tracking industry.

As the Computer Vision Engineer, you will work closely with a variety of technical resources and will be responsible for the development of the system responsible for detection and tracking.

You will need to have experience in MLOps, data management, algorithms, and platform development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Python and Go
• Build and manage training pipelines using Python and Go
• Develop computer vision algorithms for tracking and detection
• Train models for classification and localisation
• Ensure software stability and enhance platform performance
• Integrate models and algorithms into the detection platform
• Ensure successful and reliable deployment of the platform and your CV models.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with open-source computer vision models and algorithms
• Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, ideally Python, Golang or C++
• Experience in edge compute/embedded Computer Vision software in commercial applications
• Experience working with Nvidia GPU-based processing systems
