Community Recovery Officer

Description:

At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our Community. To help us achieve this we are looking for someone who has a passion for working with the community or a relevant qualification and experience in planning and implementing community projects. You will have excellent communication skills and report writing experience. Experience in Local Government and the ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the community is desirable.

On a typical day this role will:

• Work collaboratively to develop strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop work plans that include appropriate strategies, activities and timelines for supporting community recovery.
• Support community participation in relation to recovery and preparedness programs, activities and events.
• Analyse information and provide detailed reports back to funding bodies and Council
• Contribute to community awareness programs and support the development of community-led activities
