We are looking for a passionate and experienced Community Health and Wellbeing Policy Advisor to help us identify and embed health and wellbeing across the organisation.

Working within a team of creative and supportive planning, diversity, equity and inclusion specialists, you’ll lead health planning and policy development to promote healthy connected communities. You’ll play an important role in responding to community needs in partnership with key community stakeholders to ensure positive health outcomes.

Duties

• Lead health planning: implement, evaluate and review the City of Port Phillip’s (CoPP) Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan within the Council Plan
• Identify community health and wellbeing needs through research, data analysis and consultation.
• Facilitate an integrated planning approach to embed health and wellbeing priorities across the organisation.
• Provide specialist advice to management, Council and other teams on relevant community health and wellbeing issuesmmm

Skills And Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience
• Experience of population health planning to achieve community wellbeing
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build strong and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
