Communications Officer

Description:

This Government Department is seeking an experienced Communications Officer to join the team on a contract basis. The role is through to mid February 2023 with possible extensions. The focus of this role is to develop engaging and innovative content to publish across multiple platforms and channels.

• Provide expert advice and support on communications
• Prepare quality reports, briefings and correspondence which provide advice to the senior stakeholders
• Development external and internal communication strategies
• Assure brand and language consistency and integrity across all communications initiatives and marketing materials
• Support business or project areas to develop and execute internal communication
• Experience working as a Communications Officer
• Experience in writing, producing and sharing a range of content and channels
• Prior experience working in the Government sector - highly regarded
• Ability to start ASAP
