Communications Officer

This opportunity exists for a person with a passion for identifying funding opportunities to join our team. This position is responsible for sourcing and preparation of high-quality grant applications for both Council and the community. You will also plan, coordinate and deliver marketing and communication strategies, while promoting a positive image of Council.

Ideally the successful applicant will have strong customer service skills and demonstrated experience in grant and funding applications, local government knowledge, with appropriate qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent. This position would also be suitable for those with extensive practical experience.
