  • Salary range: Level 8 $101,337.00 – $110,766.00 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

About the team

Corporate Communications delivers professional, strategic and best practice communications and engagement activities across the University, as the lead group for the University’s engagement with government, the media, staff and key external stakeholders. This is facilitated through the provision of strategic advice and the effective management of a range of communication channels.

About the opportunity

The Corporate Communications Manager will lead a small team within Corporate Communications with the aim of fostering positive communications and engagement with internal and external stakeholders to support the University’s strategic goals and projects.

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent competency (Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent)
  • Extensive relevant senior communications experience working in a varied communications / public relations role
  • High level interpersonal and written communication skills with experience in producing high-quality integrated communication content
  • Experience in effective proactive issues management
  • Substantial experience in digital communications including developing content, establishing and managing websites, social media platforms and e-newsletters
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to effectively plan and implement strategic communication programs and projects
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills and experience in the use of digital communications
