Our client, a leading Big 4 Consulting firm, is seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to join their dynamic team in Melbourne.

As the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the firm's communications strategy to enhance brand reputation, engage stakeholders, and support business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies aligned with the firm's goals and initiatives.
  • Create engaging and impactful content for various channels, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media.
  • Manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
  • Act as a spokesperson for the firm, handling media inquiries and organizing press conferences or interviews.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication matters and reputation management.
  • Plan and execute high-profile events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, public relations, and business development, to integrate communication efforts.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Strong media relations skills and experience working with journalists and influencers.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
