Communications & Engagement Officer

Description:

he College is seeking to employ a Communications & Engagement Officer to assist in the
development and implementation of consistent, timely and seamless educational and
informational content, materials, and messaging to drive audience engagement, influence
behaviours, and support a strong internal culture and the establishment of strong partnerships
with our College community.

The successful candidate will work throughout term time and school holiday periods, term
time only employment may be considered for the right candidate.
The successful applicant for the above position must be able to provide evidence in their
cover letter to support the following criteria:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications &/or demonstrated experience in a similar environment.

• Can develop and implement communication strategies and activities across traditional

and digital channels.

• Have high level written and oral communication skills, and can develop content and

write engaging and impactful stories.

• Demonstratable interpersonal, collaborative and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and can prioritise competing deadlines.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Strong personal Christian faith and be a regular and practising member of a Bible-based:
• Previous employment in the education sector.
• Experience planning and coordination of events and/or public engagement activities.
• Knowledge and experience in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
