Your new role

The communications Coordinator supports the Communications Specialists in copywriting and creating digital content.

  • Support in the implementation of SEO strategies to ensure website copy is search engine optimised
  • Support the Communications Specialist with copywriting for the website and identify content, in ensuring that it is all up to date, including create content for the pages, news stories and employee spotlights
  • Assist with the creation of web case studies
  • Research and write thought leadership content that has been identified by Communications Specialist
  • Support in the back end with WordPress and upload relevant content
  • Support in copywriting assets to support campaigns that are SEO friendly and optimised.
  • Support Comms Coordinator with copywriting on social media strategy
  • Brand Guidelines
  • Support Communications Specialist to ensure bid templates are kept up to date with messaging
  • Assist Communications Specialist in copywriting case studies
  • Support the Communications Specialist in creating targeted advertorial content
  • Assist in managing a national thought leadership calendar
  • Support copywriting for events and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Provide adhoc support to Communications Specialists with internal and external communications

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications/journalism, public relations or related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • 1–2 years in a content/copy producing role
  • A good understand of SEO and how to optimise digital content for search engines
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Good computer skills in MS Office application: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
