We’re seeking a Communications and Portfolio Services Manager, a critical role which works closely with a variety of people to coordinate all Service Tasmania communication activities, marketing, ministerial correspondence and departmental reporting to support the goals of the organisation.   • Manage and continually develop the overall communication and marketing approach for Service Tasmania.
  • Manage and complete all requests related to supporting the machinery of Government (e.g. Question Time Briefs, Budget Estimates Briefs) and corporate reporting requirements (e.g. annual report).
  • As a senior Service Tasmania employee, provide high level advice to contribute to the leadership, strategic planning, policy development and future direction of Service Tasmania.
  • Develop and maintain networks with key Service Tasmania stakeholders to ensure Service Tasmania communications and marketing objectives meet the needs of all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Undertake specific Service Tasmania project activities relevant to the role.
  • Undertake other duties within this classification level and range of responsibilities which are within the employee’s competence and skill level.
