The purpose of the role is to assist the General Manager and contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the company and manage all aspects of revenue and cost control.
- Manage and grow the existing customer base, whilst actively. supporting the business development to achieve revenue targets
- Prepare tenders and assist in the management of projects to go live stage.
- Development of financial plans, including budgets and forecasting.
- Analysis of business performance, including profitability, revenue, pricing structures and cost of commercial agreements.
- Primarily responsible for pricing of new commercial contracts.
- Supporting the General Manager by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities prior to a bid.
- Previous experience within the logistics sector at a similar management role
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to solve issues with outside-of-the-box thinking, and ultimately contribute to the company's continued expansion
- A results-driven individual who is resilient, adaptable, with a positive mindset, and a high level of integrity.
- The ability to handle various projects simultaneously and independently
- A high level of knowledge with contracts, tenders, and fiscal responsibility
- Current Covid vaccinations, criminal history check and a medical will all be required for this role
