Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the primary objective of this role is to support the achievement of Australian Unity’s vision together with the provision of meaningful data driven insights and analysis relating to the operational and strategic growth objectives of Australian Unity’s Home Health business.Your new role will have a varied scope of finance objectives and deliverables as you work with the Home Health platform across the following key responsibilities and others:
- Customer Focussed: Provision of Business Insights (BI) analysis to Regional and Branch managers on client and product performance to enable growth and alignment of client mix.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Strategic finance partnering across the Home Health business platform to support revenue initiatives, manage costs, develop analysis and provide commercial finance support.
- Commercial Financial Management and Insights: Work collaboratively with the AU Group Finance team to ensure accuracy and reliability in all financial information produced from the shared services team. Review and analyze monthly results, providing accurate and insightful analysis of key trends and performance indicators.
- Annual Budget and Forecasting: Preparation of a ‘bottom up’ approach to the annual budget process across the Home Health businesses. Provision of commercial and financial support to General Managers, Regional Managers and Branch managers on the development of their budgets and forecast.
- Drive and deliver actionable insights on financial analysis, development, and execution of various operational and transformational initiatives.
