Commercial Analyst

Our client is a leading provider of workforce services and solutions. They provide a large range of services including food services, accommodation, property maintenance and much more. The company is a listed business who has grown massively across Australia and are now looking to expand their finance function. Our client is seeking a passionate and hardworking Commercial Analyst to join their close-knit finance team.

You will enjoy a collaborative and friendly working environment with many opportunities to develop your commercial skills and knowledge within the finance team. This role will be heavily involved in business partnering, driving budgets and forecast and providing ongoing strategic insights.

The role will work as a hybrid working model and will offer the flexibility to work in a very fast paced environment. You will work closely with a fun, cooperative, and passionate team, and assist the Commercial Senior Finance Manager with decision making and stakeholder engagement.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the role will require you to provide commercial value to the finance function and will focus on:

• Preparing budgets and forecasts.

• Gathering analyzing, summarizing and interpreting data.

• Developing and maintaining financial models.

• Applying financial practices and developing recommendations.

• Preparing weekly and monthly estimates by collecting and analyzing data.

• Business partner with stakeholders at all levels.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• CPA or CA qualified or working towards your qualification. Big Four experience will be highly regarded.

• At least 2-5 years experience in accounting/analytical experience.

• Advanced experience using financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamic, SAP, Excel etc.

• Ability to communicate complex financial information to the broad audience.

• Strong presentation and storyboarding skills
